Our research aim is to establish a practical fabrication technology for wirelessly operated wearable electronics via integration of wireless energy generator, energy storage device, and bio-environmental sensors on a single deformable substrate. For this, we do research on (1) developing high-efficiency, flexible solar cell as a wireless energy generating device and a wireless power receiving device using a coil antenna, (2) devising high-performance supercapacitors, (3) fabricating multi-functional sensors with visual display, and (4) integrating all the device elements on a single deformable polymer substrate which is skin-attachable.
